This may seem like a bit of a tangent, but trust me. Remember this?

I bought my De Mott sailboat for a dollar at a Florida thrift store and about crapped my pants when I saw a similar one for 25.00 at a local vintage shop.

My sailboat is a treasure not because it's awesome in and of itself, but it reminds me of the bronze wall sculptures of cafes and fish that my aunt had in her home. Yes, I'm still nostalgic over my family's artwork, and apparently stuck in the 70s. Told you it would come full circle.

Today's post is a throwback to Curtis Jere and all things brass, bronze or copper.

Jonathan Adler is also reproducing a few C. Jere pieces.

Here's a glimpse of C. Jere in the home.
